Wow!!!! I saw this recipe and new I had make it!! I didn’t have salami, but I had turkey so I made it with turkey and it was a huge hit! It was polished off in minutes!!! Thanks Chanie!
If I bought the extra long salami, do I double all the ingredients? I’m just nervous if it’ll be too much brandy in it. Thanks! Can’t wait to make this. Looks amazing!
I make this all the time and found I can substitute other alcohol with similar results – whiskey, tequila, etc. I also live in Israel and have found the Israeli brand salamis work well.
What brand of brandy is kosher ? The recipe sounds delicious!
I use Carmel Brandy 777.
I would love to make this for Pesach, but I can’t use mustard. Do you think it would work if I substituted an apricot-barbecue sauce instaed?
Hi Jeanette, I’m not sure apricot and bbq sauce would work together, but maybe a sweet duck sauce or a honey bbq sauce.

I used hod Lavan Mexican turkey breast, that’s all I had at home and it came out great!
I’m gonna try it that way, great idea!
Would this stay good on a warming tray- for a Friday night meal?
I don’t see why not.
Was finger lickin’ good. Keep up the great work Chanie. Keep those recipes coming.

The recipe makes lots of sauce, so I don’t think you need to double. Enjoy!

Regular (not dried) salami. I love the Abeles & Heymann brand.

We absolutely love this recipe! One question, would whiskey work in this recipe instead of bourbon or brandy?
