Some people seem to think that cranberry sauce it just for Thanksgiving, but I happen to enjoy it all cranberry season! There are so many variations to make, and so many ways to enjoy it. My favorite is mulled wine cranberry sauce.
It you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may remember this celebratory post from my one year blogoversary, featuring mulled wine. I decided to combine two of my favorite holiday foods – mulled wine and cranberries – to create this out of this world dish. I’m sure it will become your favorite too!

I absolutely love cranberry sauce! It’s always a must have for me on Thanksgiving and a treat the rest of the year! So excited at the idea of making it myself! I actually just discovered Mara’s site this week, it’s so great! :)
This looks great, thanks for getting me in the mood for Thanksgiving :)
i have never made cranberry sauce, but this recipe looks fantastic! maybe i’ll try it :)
I adore cranberry sauce in any form. We always make at least three different varieties at Thanksgiving but I might have to make it 4 this year so I can try yours.
I like real cranberry sauce, as opposed to that blob of canned stuff, and your version looks terrific! The only problem is that I’m the only one in the family that does. I’d have to eat the entire batch. Not that it would be a problem, especially with all the wine it contains …
Love this idea and another gorgeous pic.
This looks amazing! I love cranberry sauce and eat it all the time too. I will have to try this recipe!
