Creamiest Tahini
½ cup tahini paste, stir if separated
1 clove garlic
juice of ½ lemon
¼ tsp cumin
1/3-1/2 cup ice water
kosher salt, to taste
Method:
Whisk ingredients together in a bowl to get the creamiest Tahini you’ve ever had.

Roasted Cauliflower with Dates & Smashed Olives, OH EM GEE!!

1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
8 medjool dates, pitted and quartered lengthwise
3/4 cup canned chickpeas, drained, rinsed, patted dry
1/2 cup Kalamata olives smashed and pitted
Two cloves garlic, grated on a microplane
Zest of 1 Meyer lemon (or 1/2 regular lemon)
2 tablespoons zaatar
3 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Method:
Preheat oven to 425°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, add all the ingredients and toss to coat evenly. Roast for 25 minutes until crispy. Garnish with parsley.

Salsa Salad
1/3 cup salsa
3 tbsp light olive oil
1 clove minced garlic
Juice of 1/2 lime
1 tbsp honey
Salt and pepper to taste
2 medium head cabbage, chopped
1 avocado, diced
1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
Bunch of cilantro, roughly chopped
1 cup crushed tortilla chips
Method:
Whisk the salad dressing at the bottom of the salad bowl and add your vegetables, toss and top with tortilla chips.

Give me a head of cabbage and I will cook it! Every. Which. Way. I love to braise it, roast it, grill it, eat it raw in salads, pickle it and steam it! It’s so filling and really a blank canvas for any flavor profile. But this? This was a stroke of genius for lunch and my new favorite dish! So so good!

1 head cabbage
olive oil
pizza or italian seasoning
marina sauce
cheese
toppings of your choice
Method:
Slice the cabbage, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with pizza or Italian seasoning, roast at 400° for 20 minutes. Top with marinara, cheese and your favorite toppings, return to the oven till cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!

We’re halfway through Chanukah and I don’t know about you but I am all donuted-out! We love making fried Oreos in my house, But you can literally use this batter to deep fry anything! We tried dates, Peanut butter cups, even grapes and rice crispy treats! What’s the craziest thing you have deep fried?!

1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1 egg
1 1/4 cups milk
Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Add the wet to the dry and stir until smooth. Dip (almost) anything in the batter, shake off excess, and deep fry!
